Step by step
Seven stages, with a clear boundary at each decision.
You may stop after receiving guidance. Technical or commercial continuity only occurs if the organization requests and accepts it separately.

Initial guidance
Complete the Checker using the information you know. The result organizes factors and uncertainties without producing an official qualification.

Confirmed request
Your name, organization and professional email address are confirmed. Before submission, you see the data and answers that will be associated with the process.
- 03
Reference and private access
A non-sequential reference and personal link are created. On first opening, the token is removed from the address and access continues in a protected session.

Human review
Cyberprotech reviews the sector, nature, size, special circumstances and status of the MyCiber pathway. We may request clarification or strictly necessary documents.

Interaction and evidence
In the private area you can exchange messages, send documents and propose a meeting, contact or visit. Each element remains associated with the corresponding process.
- 06
Guidance and decision
You receive a reasoned interpretation and next steps. Official decisions and actions in MyCiber always belong to the entity and competent authorities.
- 07
Closure or continuity
The process may end with the guidance or, if requested, separately progress to an assessment, project or ongoing support under its own proposal.
Legal and legislative framework
The process supports interpretation; the law and authority determine the framework.
Decree-Law No. 125/2025 establishes the Portuguese Cybersecurity Legal Framework and transposes Directive (EU) 2022/2555. Article 8 establishes the identification and qualification procedure through the electronic platform provided by the CNCS.
Regulation No. 756/2026 defines the platform's operating rules, procedures, data, notifications and applicable measures. MyCiber is the institutional channel for official acts covered by the framework.
Data protection and security
Data proportionate to the requested support.
Identification is requested only when you decide to turn the preliminary result into a supported process.
Purpose
To analyze the request, communicate with the requester, document the guidance, validate elements and manage the requested support. Subscription to alerts and news is optional and separate.
Access and minimization
The process uses a reference and private link. The token is removed from the URL after first opening. We do not use an IP address, fingerprint or analytics cookies as the identity of this process.
Documents
Only necessary documents without excessive data should be submitted. Files remain private, undergo validation and do not receive a direct public address.

Optional continuity
A commercial component exists, but it does not control the process.
The guidance may end with delivery of next steps. If the organization requires additional support, it may request a discussion about assessment, MyCiber preparation, documentation, implementation, training or ongoing support.
Any service has its own scope, responsibilities, price, timeframe and conditions. Creating the process, providing initial guidance or receiving information does not constitute an award, retainer or acceptance of a proposal.
