What are cookies?

Cookies are small identifiers stored on or read from the user's device. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, may remember preferences. Strictly necessary technologies support a service requested by the user; measurement technologies are activated only after consent.

Cookies currently used

Browsing the main website's public pages does not require a session. In the Resource Library, a technical PHP session may be created to protect requests, validations and forms against abuse and forgery.

Contact and incident-support forms use their own technical sessions and Google reCAPTCHA v3 to protect against automated submissions. The Google service is loaded only on pages where the form is active.

The BackOffice and other authenticated areas use session cookies strictly necessary for authentication and security, and these areas are not accessible through normal public browsing.

Your choice is stored in local storage under the identifier cyberprotech_cookie_preferences_v1 and may be reviewed through ‘Manage cookies’. Google Analytics 4 and its identifiers are loaded only when the Analytics category has been accepted.

Resource forms and levels

Data entered in Resource forms is not a cookie. It is information voluntarily submitted by the visitor in accordance with the access level stated for the resource.

Level 0 may operate without identification. At subsequent levels, fields increase proportionately, from basic identification to professional context or pre-assessment. The Privacy Policy describes the applicable data, purposes and legal bases.

The optional choice to receive communications is independent of access to the resource. The technical session only protects and maintains the request; it does not turn that choice into marketing consent.

Optional measurement and inactive categories

Google Analytics 4 is optional and remains completely disabled until consent is given. Once accepted, it measures pages visited and aggregated use; Google Signals and advertising personalisation remain disabled.

We do not use behavioral advertising or social-media cookies. Any material change to these purposes requires an updated policy and a new choice from the visitor.

How to manage your preferences

You may accept, refuse or withdraw analytics consent at any time through ‘Manage cookies’, as easily as you gave it. You may also block or delete data in your browser settings; blocking strictly necessary technologies may prevent forms, authentication or resource delivery from working.

When consent is withdrawn, the website communicates the refusal to Google Analytics and deletes analytics cookies from this domain where they are technically accessible. Deleting website data in the browser also removes stored preferences.

External services

When you follow a link to an external platform, authority or website, that service may use its own cookies under its own policy. Cyberprotech does not set those cookies on the external domain.

Google Analytics 4 is used exclusively after consent for audience measurement. reCAPTCHA v3 is loaded only on protected forms as an anti-abuse measure and may process technical data needed for its assessment. Both are subject to Google's policies; also consult the Privacy Policy for information about recipients and transfers.
